Keep things cool this summer

Going on an impromptu camping trip in the next few weeks? I recently went on my first camping trip this summer with friends (and a couple of furry friends, too!) and had a blast. It was great to see the stars at night and uplug from my computer and cell phone for a weekend! Here are a few fun pictures from my trip:

If you are an occasional camper (like me!) and don’t want to spend too much time or money on camping gear, consider the Cascades Boutique Cardboard Cooler Box. This cooler represents a great environmentally-friendly alternative to restricted-usage and non-recyclable traditional coolers, since it’s composed of 70% recycled materials, in addition to being 100% recyclable!

Perfect for quiet evenings with family or with friends around a fire, camping or simply for taking advantage of sunny summer days on the beach.  Modern and ideal for nature outings, the portable cooler is lined with a NorShield® waterproof coating, making it weatherproof and reusable. Don’t worry about the elements! This cooler will definitely help you keep things (i.e.: drinks, meats, chocolates for smores) nice and cool on your outdoor excursions this summer. Stays cool (41 °F) for 36 hours at ambient temperature (77 °F) with two bags of ice (one underneath food and beverages and one on top).

I’ll be going on a camping trip next weekend, and am very excited to bring my own Cardboard Cooler Box with me. I’ll be sure to post pictures and updates on my return. If you would like to receive a FREE Cardboard Cooler Box, leave a comment below about your favorite camping trip or a memorable experience while camping. A winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday, August 10th. You can also use coupon code: GABYGREEN for 25% off Cascade Boutiques Cooler Boxes (hurry, this code expires on August 15th!).

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”
